Ministering soon at Jerusalem Summit Africa, in Cape Town
Bringing Israeli Knesset Members together with Christian Leaders of Africa
Jerusalem:
June 11 - July 4 Traveling in South Africa.
In conjunction with International
Christian Embassy Jerusalem and Bridges for Peace, I am helping coordinate
"Jerusalem Summit Africa" -
a convocation for Knesset members to meet with Christian leaders from various African nations.
Basically, the idea of this convocation is for mutual blessing between Israel and nations of Africa
according to Genesis 12:3. I believe that the LORD is going to bless this meeting and provide solid
relationships between the African Christians and the Israelis. Six delegates are confirmed to come from
Kenya, Uganda, Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Togo. Additionally, I have one pastor and 4 Christian businessmen from Benin
who are praying about coming; Please pray for their finances and for their entry visas. They are
working very hard on acquiring their visas from the nearby South African Embassy in Nigeria.

Bit o' History from the Halls of Knesset:
April 7, 2005:
Greetings in the name of Jesus! We've got some great news to report from Israel. By God's grace, I'm still here doing the work of the LORD - and the LORD is giving great favor. By the way, in this newsletter, the best stuff is at the end - but it's all God's great work!
Who would have thought that just a few months after my arrival in Israel, that I would already be invited to meetings with government leaders and Parliament members? Yet that is just what is happening. This Monday, I was in a meeting in the Knesset, reported here in the Jerusalem Post.
Anyway, you may have read there that Pastor Glenn Plummer, former Chair of the NRB (National Religious Broadcasters) addressed the meeting, and pointed out some interesting things, such as remembering how American Jews stood with the Black Americans during the Civil Rights Movement in the 50's and 60's, and that Black Americans owed a debt to the Jews and to Israel for this history. But the most exciting thing is what happened next, and this is something you will NOT find in the Jerusalem Post!
After the address, a Jewish Israeli lady stood up and introduced herself as the owner of a hotel in Jerusalem. She said she loves to host Christian groups of visitors, and when she does, she likes to sing a song with the groups, "Days of Elijah." Then, she starts to say...
"These are the days of Elijah..."
I jump up out of my seat! Literally! I join in singing...
"Declaring the Word of the LORD!
And these are the days of Your servant, Moses, righteousness being restored"
I realize, here is a wonderful prophetic moment to praise the LORD together with a Jewish lady - as several other Christians stand up and sing,
"And though these are days of great trials,
Of famine and darkness and sword,
Still we are the voice in the desert crying
Prepare ye the way of the LORD!"
At this point, my heart is leaping (and so are my feet) as we continue to sing:
"Behold he comes, riding on the clouds
Shining like the sun at the trumpet call
So lift your voice, it's the year of Jubilee
Out of Zion's hill salvation comes!"
Then, believe it or not, spurred on by the Spirit, and also by the bewildered smiles of everyone in the room, we continued right thru the second verse:
"And these are the days of Ezekiel, the dry bones becoming as flesh
And these are the days of Your servant, David,
Rebuilding the temple of praise (woohoo!!)
And these are the days of the harvest
The fields are as white in Your world,
And we are the laboreres in Your vineyard
Declaring the Word of the LORD!
"Behold he comes, riding on the clouds,
Shining like the sun at the trumpet call
Lift your voice, it's the Year of Jubilee
Out of Zion's hill salvation comes"
So there we were, proclaiming in song the soon return of our LORD Jesus Christ, in the government building of the Israeli Parliament. Who would have imagined such a thing?
I'm telling you, I still have Holy Ghost excitement as I write this to you!
Ok, let me update you on one more important thing.
I have been asked to directly serve the nation of Israel. I have been asked by MK Dr. Yuri Shtern, Member of the Knesset, to represent his Knesset Committee in their liason in Africa. The Committee would like to meet with Christian leaders in Africa and they want me to set the whole thing up, basically raise the funds to make the Summit happen - which funds will be raise thru Jerusalem Tabernacle of David in conjunction with Crossroads Church and JTOD.org. The purpose of the Summit is to forge better relations between Israel and the Christian Community in Africa. This is a big opportunity for Christians to bless Israel. I believe we will need financial support from the Christian community in America to help make the Summit happen in Africa by the end of November 2005. So please join me in prayer. [The Summit actually took place in June of 2006 and was financed by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) and Bridges for Peace (BFP) - Ed]
Thanks for your time and attention, and especially thanks for your prayer. Blessings!
