Knesset Members Meet with African Christian Leaders

Teddy Chadwick Helps Coordinate the Jerusalem Summit Africa

Cape Town, South Africa: The LORD is really moving and I'm able to preach and teach about replacement theology down here in South Africa -- the LORD is really opening doors! There's such a need down here. I'm also meeting with worshippers and motivating and encouraging them as there are 2 or 3 24-7 worship-prayer houses in process of being built. The first weekend I spoke in a Dutch Reform Church (Afrikaans-speaking), the next in a shantytown church in Gugulethu (Xhosa-speaking), the next weekend in a suburban mixed crowd AG church (English speaking), this past weekend in a Pentecostal middle-class settlement church (Afrikaans/English speaking).

It's amazing how extremely successful the Jerusalem Summit was. Everyone was super-pleased with how it went - the Christians, the Jews, the Israelis, Malcolm Hedding (ICEJ), the Brimmers (Bridges for Peace), MK Rabbi Benny Elon, the African pastors, it was amazing. Such big steps for Christian/Jewish relations, glory to God.

My goal was to bring as many African pastors/leaders into relationship with the Knesset as possible. Apparantly I was the only one working on Christian leaders from other countries besides South Africa. Yet, God gave us grace and I had 6 pastors arrive from Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, and Kenya, including the Kenyan Parliament member who is a Pentecostal preacher. It looks like next year's Jerusalem Summit Africa will possibly be in Kenya, so I am planning a trip to Kenya in August to mobilize prayer teams all across the country, in advance.

In the meantime the pastors here in Cape Town have also booked me for conducting an Israel seminar this week, and a worship seminar this weekend. Next week I go to Pretoria to teach and lead worship there before continuing home to Jerusalem.

Blessings,
Teddy Chadwick
