Just Back from a 3-hour Worship Watch
Personal Update
Jerusalem:
Blessings in Jesus' name! I'm living in a country at war - but the LORD is worthy to be praised all the time! I've just now come home from doing 3 hours of worship in the part of Jerusalem which is overlooking Mt. Zion. It's almost 2 am here, however;
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
- Psa 121:4
So I rest assured that Jesus is Keeping Israel 24/7!!! Therefore, He's worthy of praise 24-7!
Please keep Israel in your prayers. I live in a safe part of the country (so far). But over 2,500 missiles have hit Israel in just 15 days. But it's only going to get worse if our military isn't vested with the power to finish the job properly of wiping out the terror organization Hizb'Allah. One prayer that I have is that the IDF will be given the authority and permission from the Israeli government to completely wipe out Hizb'Allah. Yesterday the gov't denied the IDF's request to send in more ground troops.
The reason is this: with all the military action the IDF is taking against Hizb'Allah, the terrorists are still firing 80-100 missiles a day into Israel. In a practical, material way, military experts say that "time is on the terrorists' side" -- because they can just hide out among civilians like they are doing, hiding missles beneath civilians' beds, and pepper us with rockets for years because they have nothing to lose.
Of course, in an Ultimate sense, time is on the LORD's side. We know that He is victorious.
Right now we have nearly a million Israelis in the north who have spent 16 days living in bomb shelters. This is a nation with about 7 million people. About 80% Jewish, the rest is mainly Arab.
